Newb is the new player that joins the team on the second year in the career modes. He is usually subject to rookie teasing and is often put into situations against his will, such as being tied up with an apple placed on his head as a target when you do control training in My Pitcher mode. Newb has long brown He-Man type hair and is typically seen hanging out with Glasses and Teammate. His in-game challenges are typically easy, as he mostly just wants you to get a base hit or an extra base hit. If you fail, he cries.
